Who Is The Dude?

The dude is a 53 year old traveler, motorcycle enthusiast, blogger, cryptocurrency trader, and all around technology nut. I’m best known on the internet as @The_Crypto_Dood formerly known as @BitcoinDood on Twitter. When I’m not blogging or trading cryptocurrency you can usually find me riding around New York State or some other part of the United States on one of my motorcycles. I also have a Twitter account dedicated to motorcycles and travel @TheMotoDude

I live in Buffalo NY and for the most part I earn my living trading cryptocurrency and working from home. Cryptocurrency has given me the freedom to work from home and travel, and technology has given me the freedom to work from anywhere in the world. I’m striving for a digital nomad lifestyle.

My main motorcycle is a Suzuki DR650. This is the motorcycle I like to travel with and also ride around locally. I also have a 2017 CSC TT250 which is a 200cc Chinese dual sport. It’s actually a really fun bike but in need of some TLC at the moment. I’m hoping I can find the time this summer to work on it. I also own a 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 which I’m currently in the process of selling.

I’m an avid bloggger on the Hive blockchain. With Hive I earn cryptocurrency for blogging and social media engagement. I have a personal blog on Peakd which is connected to Hive where I post more personal everyday stuff and talk a little about cryptocurrency, world events, or whatever I feel like blogging about at the time.
