Live Your Dreams!

desktop dream board
My dream board desktop. None of these images are mine, these were just images I had on  my hard drive. I put them together in dream board format to help motivate me. Every day when I boot up my computer I’ll be forced to ask myself what I’m doing to make my dream a reality. Used as a reference under “fair use”.

A dream board is a collage of images that you can use as a motivator to help achieve your goals. You can also make a collage out of poster board with different photos, newspaper clippings, or magazine images. In this case I put one together from various images on my hard drive to use as a desktop dream board. The idea is that looking at your goals everyday will help keep you motivated, and help your goals quickly materialize. I think I’m going to hang one up in my apartment too.

These are the places I want to see. The bucket list trip if you will! I’m turning 50 in less than a week, and I’m really starting to take it to heart. Can’t believe I’m 50 years old. CRAZY! With that said, I really need to do this trip soon before old age makes that impossible.

The plan is to ride from Buffalo NY to Pacific Coast Highway or Highway 1 in California. I plan on riding the trails of Colorado, Moab Ut, stopping off in the Grand Canyon, maybe visit Las Vegas, ride through death valley, Sequoia National Park, San Francisco, along the PCH to Los Angeles, then ride back home along the Mexican border of Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.

The Kawasaki KLR 650 is the ideal bike I’d like to take on the trip. I may even trade in my Honda Shadow 🙁 Colorado, Moab Ut, and Highway 1 are must see destinations! The image in the middle is the reminder that life is short, and to stop putting things off.
