Finally! I think I have the theme I was looking for! I had to custom build it myself, but this was exactly what I wanted when I first thought up this blog.
Please pardon some of the glitches. Currently thumbnail images aren’t loading. I should have this fixed by tomorrow. This is the first time I’ve designed a WordPress theme from scratch. There are still a few more features I want to add, but for now, I think this is a good start!
I wanted to have separate results for images and blog posts. I can now post galleries of my travels and adventures and when I feel like writing I can post a blog. Both categories are now separate.
If you’re interested in theme design, I used a Free Code Camp tutorial. I love their tutorials, I’ve learned a lot of my front end development utilizes their website. Here’s the Youtube I used to build this.
Over the next several days I’ll be debugging the site. As I said earlier, there are a few glitches and kinks to work out. If you’re using a section of the site that isn’t working right, please leave a comment describing the issue and I’ll get to it as soon as I can.
Thanks for reading! Cheers 🙂

Looks good for the start. Changing over can’t be easy. I am still on blogger. The layout is nice. Looking forward to seeing it again in a week or two. Keep on blogging.
